Turning my 2022 Silverado Trail Boss into an overland rig for long, self-supported trips off the pavement.

Overland Silverado

The same truck that's getting the new cockpit is becoming an overland build: set up to carry everything I need for long trips far from town, and to get there.

It started as a Trail Boss with the factory lift, locker and skid plates. Since then it's gained a SmartCap and DECKED drawer system in the bed, a DV8 front bumper, auxiliary lighting all around, and bigger wheels and tires. I'm keeping a full record of every change.

    Started a site that tracks every part, spec and modification on the truck.

  2. Bumper install guide

    Made a step-by-step digital install guide for the DV8 front bumper and winch plate.

  3. Wheels and tires ordered

    Method MR305 NV wheels on 34-inch Falken Wildpeak AT4W tires.
